An Afternoon Tea with Cake and Sunshine

While the past year flew away before i could say tink,

this year, i know is here to stay even after i blink.

Ever since the clock struck twelve,

i have gracefully stepped into a true wonderland.

Suddenly every detail is more beautiful,

and each second leaves me wonder-struck anew.

Every day starts with a smile dancing on my lips,

and every sleeping hour explodes with dreams behind my closed eyelids.

Each passing minute is so absolute with adventure and discoveries,

i am filled with the humble knowledge that life is a blessing indeed.

All i know is,

I live.
